Staying in a Scottish holiday cottage in Perthshire is a perfect base from which to explore a whole host of places of interest.  Areas such as Crieff, Aberfeldy and Kenmore have some amazing Scottish holiday cottages and are located ideally to explore such places as the Edradour Whisky Distillery – the smallest whisky distillery in Scotland, The Falls of Dochart in the village of Killen together with the Breadalbane Folklore Centre that boasts a tremendous collection of Rob Roy MacGregor’s artefacts including his sword.  (more…)
